你知道嗎?
英國愛狗人士前幾年對一個新的犬種：拉不拉多貴賓犬(labradoodle)趨之若鶩。
顧名思義，就是拉不拉多犬和貴賓犬的混種。
雖然有些奇怪，
但至少我還能想像這種狗的樣子...

但是，peakadoodle又是甚麼呢? 難道是孔雀(peacock)和貴賓狗的混種嗎?!

英國衛報(www.guardian.co.uk)的寵物版於09年8月25日發表了這樣的新聞...

When poodles turn into peacocks




原來是一位動物攝影師 Ren Netherland，以染色和剪毛的方式，將貴賓狗剪成各種造型，並發表了他一系列的作品...

有些造型乍看之下真的會讓人嚇一跳，又有些好笑。
但其實我在邊看的過程邊又覺得有點不忍，
因為狗狗被搞成這樣，應該會滿自卑的吧~~
不知道這位攝影師會不會被愛狗人士抗議虐待動物?

You've heard of a labradoodle - a labrador crossed with a poodle - but what about a peakadoodle? Don't worry, poodles haven't started mating with peacocks, but some poor pooches have been made to resemble their feathered friends.

Animal photographer Ren Netherland, from Florida, clips and colours poodles to resemble other animals in the name of, ahem, art. Apparently he travels thousands of miles every year photographing his creations, which range from peacocks and camels to film stars and sporting heroes.

Look at the evidence and weep, animal lovers ...
